Hidden Disabilities
Paddington Central has joined the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Scheme, to support more than 10 million people living in the UK that have a hidden disability.
The scheme is designed to help ensure Paddington Central is accessible to all visitors by raising awareness of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower, which is used to discreetly indicate to people around the wearer that they may need additional support, help or a little more time.
Some of our team have also received further bespoke training to help deepen their understanding of how they can better support customers with hidden disabilities.
If you’d like to find out more, or discuss our support further, please just get in touch via our contact us page.
Other ways we can help:
- We have highlighted where there is disabled access on the map.
- We have highlighted where there is lift access on the map.
- We work with local charity, PiP who support young people and adults with learning disabilities and autism to become independent.
